Live matchmaking

One player at a time, ranked by compatibility. Connect or skip, and the search keeps going.
Rather pick a crew yourself? Browse the LFG listings.
LFG ListingsMinecraft matchmaking here pairs two compatible players, one reveal at a time. Every search runs against real match profiles, never bots: the queue scores each active player against yours and shows the most compatible teammate first. Connect to send a request, skip to see the next player, and when both sides accept, a private chat opens.
Looking for a duo partner rather than a crowd? The queue is built for exactly that: it always pairs you with one player. For a bigger crew, post an LFG listing with your party size and requirements, or browse DonutSMP teams and clans.
Scores run from 0 to 100 and count the concrete things two players share. Every game mode you both play counts, and modes carry the most weight. A shared playstyle tag counts next, then fixed points for a shared language, the same country, a compatible voice chat setup, and platform fit. The total maps to ore tiers: Diamond for 80 and up, Gold from 60, Iron from 40, and Stone below that.
Two conflicts rule a pairing out no matter the points: Java with Bedrock, and voice-required with text-only. Everything else is a preference, not a wall. More scoring detail lives in the matchmaking FAQ.
Java Edition and Bedrock Edition cannot join the same world, so each edition searches its own queue and you only ever see players you can actually play with. Crossplay players, who own both editions, pick which queue to search and appear in both pools. Every profile is tied to a real Minecraft identity: Microsoft sign-in verifies Xbox gamertags and Java usernames, and typed Java names are checked against Mojang. Prefer to browse instead? The player directory lists everyone in the pool with their modes, language, and skin.
