About Minecraft LFG
Matchmaking for Minecraft players, not another server list.
You fill in one profile: edition, region, game modes, schedule, voice preference. That profile powers two ways to find people. The direct queue scores every other active player against yours out of 100 and shows the best fits first, ranked from diamond down to stone. Two things can rule a pairing out completely, whatever the rest of the score says: Java and Bedrock cannot share a world, and voice-required cannot play with text-only.
The second mode is group listings. Anyone with an active profile can post a group for their SMP, modded pack, or event, and anyone browsing can request a spot with a short note. The owner accepts or declines each request, and accepted members share one group conversation. Direct matches work the same way one on one: you send a request, and if it is accepted a private chat opens and you take it from there, in-game.
Minecraft LFG is a solo project, built and run by one person, started in 2026. It is in early beta: accounts, realtime updates, and more are on the way, and the changelog tracks everything as it ships. There is also a public API if you want the pool data.
Minecraft LFG is a fan project. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Item and mob artwork comes from the game and is used for identification; skin renders are fetched from public skin APIs by username. Scenario screenshots come from the community-run Minecraft Wiki at minecraft.wiki.
